Measured Twice, Installed Once

AC Installation in Dubai, Done Properly Sized Right. Fitted Right. Backed in Writing.

AC installation in Dubai is a trade where the mistakes hide inside walls and show up in August. AC Pro Dubai installs split, ducted and central systems the slow-is-smooth way: a free site survey, a room-by-room cooling-load calculation, genuine units with registered warranties, and a fixed quotation that does not grow. Ten years and thousands of installations in, our work is still standing behind ceilings all over this city.

What Our AC Installation Service Includes

Every air conditioner installation Dubai job we quote covers the same six stages, whether it is one bedroom split or a villa full of concealed ducting. No stage is an optional extra, because skipping any of them is how cheap installations get expensive.

Survey & Cooling-Load Sizing

A technician measures rooms, glazing, sun orientation and electrical capacity, then calculates the load per room. The survey costs nothing and takes under an hour for most homes. This is where wrong-size disasters are prevented.

Unit Supply & Brand Advice

We supply genuine stock with trade pricing and honest comparisons: Daikin for quiet bedrooms, O General for brutal sun-facing rooms, LG for value, and we will say so plainly rather than push whatever is in the warehouse.

Copper Piping & Electrical

Insulated copper runs sized to the refrigerant, proper cable gauge to the isolator, and a dedicated breaker where the board allows. Concealed routes are photographed before closing so future owners know exactly what sits where.

Mounting, Drainage & Finishing

Laser-levelled indoor units, vibration-damped brackets outdoors, condensate drains with real fall rather than hope, and colour-matched trunking where concealment is impossible. The finishing is what your guests see; we treat it as part of the engineering.

Testing & Commissioning

Nitrogen pressure test on every joint, vacuum pulled and held, refrigerant charged by weight, and a commissioning sheet recording temperatures and pressures at handover. New AC installation without these numbers is guesswork wearing a uniform.

Handover Pack & Aftercare

Warranty certificates, commissioning report, photos of concealed work, and one number to call. Pair the new system with scheduled AC maintenance and it will still be embarrassing your neighbour’s newer unit in year ten.

Choosing a System

Split, Ducted or Central: A Straight Answer

Every AC installation services Dubai company has a favourite answer. Ours is whichever one suits your building, and here is how we actually decide.

Split and Multi-Split Systems

The workhorse for apartments and single rooms: one indoor unit, one outdoor condenser, refrigerant piping between them. Modern inverter AC installation makes these remarkably efficient, with compressors that modulate rather than slam on and off, holding temperature steady through a 45 degree afternoon while sipping power at night.

Choose splits when rooms are cooled individually, when the building already has condenser positions allocated, or when budget matters: AC fitting for a standard split starts near AED 500 in labour. Their limit is aesthetics and coverage; five rooms means five indoor units on five walls.

Ducted and Central Systems

One concealed unit above a corridor ceiling feeds discreet grilles in every room. Villas and larger apartments choose ducted or full central AC for the silence and the clean ceilings, and because zoning dampers let bedrooms run cooler than empty living rooms overnight, which shows up pleasantly on the DEWA bill.

The engineering stakes are higher: duct routes, static pressure and insulation quality decide whether the far bedroom actually cools. This is where our AC supply and install experience in villa communities earns its keep, and where the cheapest quote reliably becomes the most expensive system.

The Difference

Why Dubai Trusts Our Installation Teams

Installation is the one AC service where you live with the quality for a decade. These six habits are what separate an installation that quietly works from one that quietly leaks value.

Load Calculations, Not Floor-Plan Guesses

Room dimensions, glazing, orientation and occupancy go into the sizing, every time. Oversized units short-cycle and leave rooms clammy; undersized ones run flat out and still lose. Right-sized is cheaper twice: at purchase and every month after.

DEWA Approved Practice

Electrical works follow DEWA connection standards: correct breaker sizing, proper isolators, no daisy-chained sockets feeding a compressor. DEWA approved AC installation is not a sticker, it is wiring your building inspector would sign.

Genuine Units, Registered Warranties

Stock comes from authorised UAE distributors, serial numbers are registered to you on day one, and grey imports never enter the van. A warranty that exists only on the receipt is not a warranty.

Municipality-Compliant Works

Structural penetrations, condenser positions and drainage follow Dubai Municipality regulations, and in towers we handle the building NOC dance so you never chase a facilities office on your lunch break.

Pressure-Tested, Vacuum-Held

Every circuit is nitrogen-tested and vacuum-held before gas touches it. Moisture in a refrigerant line is a slow compressor death sentence, invisible on handover day and expensive in year three. We are not interested in year-three phone calls.

Photographed Before Closing

Every concealed joint, cable and drain is photographed and filed with your handover pack. Future renovators will know where everything runs, and so will we when we service it in year five.

Installed for 45°C, Not for the Brochure

Every specification we write assumes the week this city saves for August: 45 degree afternoons, 90 percent coastal humidity, and fine dust that finds every gap. Condensers get shaded positions where the building allows, coastal homes get anti-corrosion coil treatment before the salt air starts its work, and condensate drains are sized for humid-season volumes rather than the mild months.

The same thinking runs indoors: insulation thickness chosen for concealed ceiling spaces that hit 55 degrees, trunking that will not yellow on a sun-facing wall, and refrigerant line lengths kept inside the manufacturer’s efficiency window rather than merely inside the maximum. Systems installed this way cost slightly more to fit and noticeably less to run, every single month, for a decade.

Money, Honestly

Budgeting for a New AC, Honestly

Prices vary with building and brand, so treat these as honest ranges rather than a menu, and get the fixed number from a survey.

What the Ranges Look Like

Labour for a standard split installation starts near AED 500 per unit; supply-and-install packages for quality inverter splits typically land between AED 2,200 and AED 4,500 per room depending on brand and capacity. Ducted villa systems run from AED 15,000 to AED 60,000 installed, driven mostly by duct complexity and zone count.

Every figure above carries the same caveat: the building decides. Long pipe runs, difficult condenser access and gypsum works move numbers honestly, which is why our quotes itemise them instead of hiding them. Full current pricing across every service lives on the AC service cost guide.

Where Cheap Quotes Hide Their Costs

The AED 300 installation exists, and here is what it omits: piping charged per metre at triple rate once the technician arrives, drainage run to nowhere, no vacuum pull, no pressure test, and a warranty that lives and dies with a mobile number. We repair these installations weekly through our AC repair service, so we see the bill customers eventually pay.

A fair comparison between quotes checks five lines: is piping included and to what length, is the electrical isolator included, is old-unit disposal included, is commissioning documented, and who exactly answers the phone in month two. Our quote answers all five in writing.

Coverage

Where We Install Across Dubai

Installation crews run daily routes through the whole city. A few districts we know brick by brick:

Dubai Marina & JBR

Tower work: building NOCs, service lifts, condenser positions on allocated ledges and salt-air corrosion protection as standard. Details on AC service in Dubai Marina.

Downtown & Business Bay

High-rise apartments and office fit-outs, often on strict building hours. We schedule noisy works to the building’s calendar. See Downtown Dubai and Business Bay.

Villa Communities & Everywhere Else

Jumeirah, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills and every district between: ducted specialists for villas, split experts for extensions. The full map is on our service areas.

One practical note on timing that surveys keep proving: tower installations move at the speed of building approvals, so allow three to five working days between booking and drilling in managed buildings, while villa work can usually start within the week. Either way, the crew that arrives has installed in your exact building type hundreds of times, knows which lift takes a condenser and which corridor needs floor protection, and treats the security desk as colleagues rather than obstacles. It sounds like a small thing. On installation day, it is the whole day.

Client Stories

What Our Clients Say

Three installations, three different buildings, one standard.

“Four bedrooms in our Downtown apartment, installed over two days while we worked from home. Dust sheets everywhere, a photographed handover file, and the quote did not move by a dirham. The building manager asked for their number afterwards.”
Lena T.Apartment Owner, Downtown Dubai
“They resized the ducted system our architect had specified and explained why with the load numbers on paper. Two summers later the far bedrooms finally cool evenly and the DEWA bill dropped enough to notice.”
Omar H.Villa Owner, Jumeirah
“Our restaurant needed installation without closing for a single service. They surveyed at midnight, installed in two overnight shifts, and commissioned before Friday brunch. Fixed price, zero drama.”

Before You Decide

An Honest Guide to AC Installation in Dubai

Four things worth knowing before you sign with anyone, including us.

Sizing Rules This Climate

Dubai rooms need roughly 550 to 650 BTU per square metre, and the adjustments matter more here than most places: west-facing glass can add a third to a room’s load, and a double-height hallway swallows cooling that floor area alone would never predict.

The practical test of any installer is whether they ask about glazing and orientation before quoting. If the number arrives after two WhatsApp questions, it is a guess with a dirham sign attached.

Replacement Timing Beats Repair Roulette

Past year eight, big-ticket failures change the maths: a compressor swap on a tired unit often costs half a new system that would cool better and burn less power. Our gas refilling and repair teams flag these cases rather than farm them.

The honest sequence is repair while repairs are small, replace when the big one comes, and never sink a second major repair into a unit past its first. We put both numbers on paper and let you choose. No pressure either way: the maths does the persuading, and half the time it argues for the cheaper option.

What Approval Paperwork Really Involves

Inside a private villa, replacing like for like usually needs nobody’s permission. Towers are different: NOCs, insurance certificates, working-hour limits and lift bookings. None of it is difficult; all of it sinks installers who discover it on the day.

We ask the building questions during the survey and price the answer into the fixed quote, which is one reason our tower installations start on the day they were booked.

The Five Tells of a Cheap Installation

No vacuum pump on the van. No pressure test before gas. Drainage that relies on optimism. Piping bought by the customer “to save money”. And a quote that fits in one text message. Any two of these together and you are buying next summer’s breakdown at today’s prices.

None of this requires choosing us. Whoever installs your AC, make them show the vacuum gauge holding and the pressure test passing. The good ones will be pleased you asked, and the other ones will get busy elsewhere.

Reading Your Commissioning Sheet

The handover pack includes numbers most companies never record: suction and discharge pressures, supply-air temperature at each grille, superheat, and the vacuum reading held before charging. Together they are your system’s birth certificate, proof it left us healthy and a baseline every future technician can measure against.

Keep it with the warranty papers. Years from now, when a technician claims your system “has always been weak”, that sheet settles the argument in thirty seconds, and it is precisely why we put the numbers in your hands rather than only in our files.

The First Month With a New System

New inverter systems reward patience: set 23 to 24 degrees and leave them alone, because the compressor holds temperature far more cheaply than the old habit of blasting 18 and switching off. Expect a faint plastic smell for the first days as protective coatings cure; it fades. What should never appear is water, ice or new noises.

We call in week two to check readings against commissioning values while everything is fresh. It takes ten minutes, catches the rare settling issue inside the workmanship warranty window, and starts the service history file that makes every later visit faster and cheaper.

Installation Questions

AC Installation Dubai: Your Questions Answered

Ten questions we hear at surveys every week, answered the way we answer them in person.

Can you supply the AC unit, or should I buy it myself?

Either works. Most clients let us supply because trade pricing on Daikin, O General and LG units usually lands at or below retail, the warranty gets registered properly, and one company owns the whole job if anything squeaks later. If you already bought a unit, we install it happily at labour-only rates and tell you honestly if the size is wrong for the room before a single hole is drilled.

Will the installation damage my walls or ceiling?

A proper installation leaves marks you planned, not marks you discovered. Pipe routes are agreed with you before drilling, cuts are made with dust extraction running, trunking is colour-matched where piping must run exposed, and any access openings in gypsum ceilings are closed and finished. The photos we take before and after protect both of us, and your deposit never covers making good our own mess: that is included.

Can you reuse the existing copper piping from my old unit?

Sometimes, and we will tell you straight. Piping in good condition, correctly sized for the new refrigerant and pressure-tested clean, can be reused and saves real money. Piping that is kinked, corroded, undersized for R32 or contaminated with old compressor oil cannot, because it quietly kills new compressors. The pressure test decides, not opinion, and you see the gauge yourself.

How do high-rise rules affect condenser placement?

Most Dubai towers restrict where outdoor units may sit, require drip trays and specific bracketry, and some ban balcony mounting entirely. We work with building managements across the city weekly, so we ask the right questions before installation day, bring the compliance paperwork facilities teams expect, and position condensers where both the building and the airflow are satisfied.

What happens to my old AC unit?

We decommission it safely, recover the refrigerant rather than venting it, and take the unit away for scrapping unless you want to keep or sell it. Recovery matters: venting refrigerant is illegal and lazy, and the recovery step is part of our fixed price, not a surprise line on the invoice.

Who registers the manufacturer warranty?

We do, on installation day, in your name. You receive the warranty confirmation together with our own 90-day workmanship certificate and the commissioning report in one handover pack. If a claim is ever needed, that pack is exactly what the manufacturer asks for, and clients tell us it is the part of our service they did not know they needed.

Can you install while we are living in the home?

Yes, and most of our residential work happens exactly that way. Rooms are sealed with dust sheets while we cut, furniture is covered, power interruptions are announced before they happen, and we leave a working bedroom unit for the night on multi-day jobs wherever the sequence allows. Occupied-home installation is a planning problem, and planning is free.

Do you install in both villas and apartments?

Both, daily, and the jobs differ more than people expect. Villas involve longer pipe runs, roof condensers and often ducted systems; apartments involve building approvals, service lifts and strict working hours. The crew that arrives has done your building type hundreds of times, which is most of what you are paying for.

How do I know what size AC I need for each room?

You do not need to: that calculation is the first thing we do, free, at the survey. As a sanity check for quotes you receive elsewhere, a typical Dubai bedroom needs roughly 550 to 650 BTU per square metre, adjusted for sun-facing glass, ceiling height and occupancy. Any installer quoting without asking about those three things is reading a price list, not sizing a system.

Is there a cheaper season for AC installation in Dubai?

Yes: October to April, when demand drops and schedules open up. Supply prices dip slightly, installation slots are abundant, and you avoid discovering a sizing mistake during a 45 degree week. If your AC limped through this summer, replacing it in winter is the financially calm way to do it, and the one we recommend to family. Book the survey in November and the whole project, survey to handover, fits comfortably inside a fortnight.
